Sally and Max go to the Beach

    16 Feb 2026 Sally & Max's Adventures

Sally and Max were so excited to be spending the day at the beach with their grandmother Elva on her Birthday. Now, They had been looking forward to this day all summer long, and it was finally here!

Elva was an expert at beach activities and like to dance. She knew how to build the best sandcastles, find the most interesting seashells, and had even taught Sally and Max how to swim when they were little.

As soon as they arrived at the beach, Sally and Max ran towards the water. Elva set up a big umbrella and chairs for them to relax under and watch the kids play.

Sally and Max splashed around in the waves, feeling the cool water wash over their toes. Elva joined in on the fun, teaching them how to jump over the waves and catch them on their boogie boards.

After a while, they decided to take a break and explore the beach. Elva led them on a treasure hunt to find the most unique seashells and rocks. They found all sorts of interesting things, like a perfectly round stone and a shell that looked like it had a little hat on top.

As they walked, they came across a group of people playing beach volleyball. Sally and Max were intrigued and wanted to try it out like their Gymnastics instructor Tyler. Elva taught them the rules and they all played together. Sally and Max weren’t very good, but they had so much fun playing and trying to hit the ball over the net.

Next, Elva suggested they build a sandcastle. Sally and Max were excited to show off their skills, and with Elva’s help, they built a huge castle complete with a moat and seashell decorations.

The day was passing quickly, and before they knew it, it was time for Birthday lunch. Elva had packed a delicious picnic, with sandwiches, fruit, and cookies. They ate under the umbrella while watching the waves and seagulls.

After lunch, Sally and Max wanted to go back in the water. Elva reminded them about the importance of water safety and made sure they had their life jackets on. They splashed and played in the waves, but Elva never took her eyes off of them.

As the day was coming to an end, Sally and Max were feeling tired but happy. They had had such a great day with their grandmother Elva. They said goodbye to the beach, but not before giving her a surprise present and giving her a big hug, and telling her how much they loved her.

On the way home, Sally and Max talked about all the fun things they had done that day. They couldn’t wait to go back to the beach again and do it all over again.

As they arrived home, Elva gave each of them a small seashell as a souvenir from their beach day. Sally and Max went to bed that night, dreaming of the waves and sandcastles, knowing that they had made some special memories with their beloved grandmother.

    Happy Birthday, We love you….
